Maria L. Weitz

Maria Weitz graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2009, with a Certificate in Public Service Law. While in school, she worked to vindicate the rights of indigent clients in the UC Davis Civil Rights Clinic. As part of her work in the Clinic, she assisted with cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and served as co-counsel in a federal jury trial. Ms. Weitzalso worked
with the Office of the Attorney General, Division of Public Rights, to ensure compliance with California's environmental protection laws. She was a member of the Environs Journal of Environmental Law and Policy, a Sacramento County Bar Association Diversity Fellow, and recipient of a Witkin Award for Academic Excellence. Ms. Weitz received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2006.
Ms. Weitz joined the firm as a law clerk in the summer of 2008, and returned as an associate after graduation. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Women Lawyers of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California, Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, and the American Bar Association.
